Buona Vista community node
The first community node along the southern stretch of the Rail Corridor, the 1.6 ha Buona Vista community node located in one-north offers another recreational and community space in our City in Nature.
Conveniently located between The Metropolis and Elementum (opening soon), and in close proximity to Buona Vista MRT interchange station, this node is easily accessible and brings the public closer to nature, heritage and recreation.
The node is also sensitively integrated with the green spine of the Rail Corridor and its surrounding developments and features inclusive spaces for play as well as community and cultural events.
How to get to Buona Vista community node:
By bus: Alight at Opp Blk 43 (74, 91, 95, 100, 105, 106, 111, 147, 185, 191, 196, 198, 200). You can also alight at Buona Vista Station Exit D (14, 74, 91, 92, 92M, 95, 191, 196, 198, 200, 200A).
By MRT: Alight at Buona Vista MRT Station. Upon exiting the MRT station (nearest exit is exit D), enter the node via our accesses near The Metropolis.
By car: Parking is available at The Metropolis. Parking charges may apply.
Accessibility information: The Buona Vista community node is wheelchair accessible. From Buona Vista MRT, you can use the lift to reach Exit D and access Buona Vista Node via our accesses near The Metropolis.

Vegetated Swales
The first vegetated swales along the Rail Corridor have also been planted within the node, which recall the original stream and marshland landscape of the Rail Corridor before the railway was first built, and provide new habitats for dragonflies and other biodiversity to thrive.
Children’s playground with biophilic elements
The children's playground with biophilic elements is the first playground along Rail Corridor. Inspired by the natural wilderness of the Rail Corridor, it is designed to offer diverse textures and makes use of topography to encourage children to reconnect with nature.
Fitness areas for adults and seniors
The new fitness areas at the Buona Vista community node are accessible via barrier-free ramps and friendly to use for adults and seniors.
Street art space underneath Commonwealth Avenue viaduct
The street art space is a joint initiative with local artists, showcasing the creative side of our local community.
Plug-and-play space underneath North Buona Vista Link viaduct
The 900 sqm plug-and-play space serves as a multi-functional community space that can be used for a variety of activities and events. Sports enthusiasts can make use of the anti-skid painted surface as a high intensity interval training (HIIT) circuit while residents and those working in the area can utilise the space for community bonding activities.

The 500 sqm community lawn provides a flexible outdoor event space amidst nature.
